What is the SPP?
The SEO Property Plugin, or SPP, from Property Manager Websites can now add your rental properties directly to your website.
This might not mean much to you, but it's a huge deal to Google and their search algorithm. Since we are building a new page for each listing, it’s like doing a blog post every time you advertise a property for rent. How is the SPP different from other vendors?
If you are using another vendor’s listing widget, like Appfolio or Propertyware, a snip of code or iframe solution must be used to display your listings. With those integrations, there is no way for Google to crawl your listing data and all of that SEO value is being directed to those vendors. With the SPP, you get 100% credit for the tenant’s time on site because we write the listing data directly onto your website. -
How do I know if I am capitalizing on my traffic?
If you are using any other plugin or widget from Appfolio, Propertyware, or any WordPress site, your property data is not accessible by Google. That even goes for our current customers who are on the standard freerentalsite.com properties widget. -
How much does the SPP cost?
The SEO Property Plugin is included in all upgraded hosting packages, or is an additional $129/mo with our base Essentials hosting package. This plugin is for PMW clients only, so you must also host your website with us. -
If I use Appfolio, Propertyware, or Buildium can I use SPP?
Yes! We can pull your listing data from Propertyware, Buildium, or Tenant Turner to our SPP with no extra work or change in processes on your end. If you are an Appfolio user, you must direct-post your listings into our marketing platform to utilize SPP, so there is some double posting.
How It Works
Your rental page is the busiest section of your website. Traditionally, this traffic and time on site value is directed to other resources because of how listings must be displayed. When you post an available property using the SPP, a page is created that is unique to each listing, giving you all the SEO value of Tenants spending time on your site.
As users engage in photo galleries, embedded videos and other marketing information, usage data on your website is increased.
You will now receive 100% of the credit for Tenants searching your property listings which means more than twice as many page views site wide and average session duration is more than double for SEO Property Plugin users than what it used to be.
